Who is Padmasambhava?
 
In Tibetan, Guru Padmasambhava is generally referred to as Guru Rinpoche, which means “precious master.” Guru Rinpoche is a totally enlightened being, a fully awakened one, a buddha. He did not become enlightened gradually, or start practicing the teachings of Buddha Shakyamuni and eventually achieve enlightenment. Guru Rinpoche incarnated as a fully enlightened being. Through his form, primordial wisdom manifests in the world to benefit all sentient beings.
 


Note: It is becoming more and more difficult to acquire real, mineral-painted Tibetan Thangka's. It takes about a year or more to make each one and now unfortunately there are very few who can. Not to mention that these Thangka's cost the buyer thousands and thousands of dollars. Our new style of Thangka utilizes the highest-quality printing process and is a bit flashier. The images are from the best versions of each deity/subject available and thus we can bring you these very high-quality works for a very good price.
